The Winnipeg Rifles Football Club

We are a member of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL), with players aged 17-22.

The Rifles have been playing in the CJFL since 2002 and have been playing in the league's Prairie Football Conference. The club plays its home games at East Side Eagles Field and IG Field.

The Winnipeg Rifles organization has had a proud tradition of supporting its players by helping them succeed both on and off the field. The Winnipeg Rifles organization has always instilled the concepts of hard work, leadership and teamwork - skills that are eventually reflected back into Manitoba communities. Junior football offers players many benefits that can lead to immediate and long-term rewards that will help them succeed later in life.

Developing a strong work ethic. Teams may play only one game a week but they practice almost daily. This commitment to attending practice and working hard to improve their skill level results in a strong work ethic that the players will take with them long after their playing days are over.
